Our three-year partnership with the Tour de l’Avenir – or the Tour of the Future if you’re anything like us and can’t pronounce it the same way twice – is part of our goal as a business to provide the next generation of cycling talent a pathway to the professional peloton. Regardless of whether you’re male or female.

The Tour de l’Avenir began life in 1961 as an amateur-only version of the Tour de France. It is now the pinnacle men’s Under-23 event on the international cycling calendar in which six selected riders represent their country of origin. The roll of honour for the Tour reads like a who’s who of cycling with Greg LeMond, Nairo Quintana, Egan Bernal and current Tour de France champion, Tadej Pogačar, all past winners.

With our support and influence, we are hopeful that during our three-year partnership, the Tour de l'Avenir will also become a women’s event and provide an opportunity for the future talent of the female pro peloton to showcase themselves – in line with our goal to nurture and grow women’s cycling.

“Our partnership with the Tour de l’Avenir is a significant milestone in our investment in the future generations of cycling. Helping to uncover the next LeMond or Bernal, and one day the Van Vleutens and Vos' too."
